Printamural Prices
All our Wallpapers and Prints are uniquely created and priced accordingly.
The base price per square metre is indicated for each of our products in the Gallery. These prices are subject to a minimum order value of £220 + vat. For your guidance, an example price is given for each mural shown.
Wallpaper prices are calculated on the wall area. Print prices are calculated on the size of image not the wall. The price is subject to change depending on the options chosen and delivery method. We will confirm the total price when we send you a firm Quotation.
A standard delivery charge of £18.00 + vat applies in the UK. All other delivery charges depend on the destination and delivery service requested.
All prices exclude vat unless indicated otherwise.

Specifying Your Mural
Eye Level. Our murals are designed with an eye level (horizon) at 140cm above floor level. This is the optimum level for viewing the mural from either standing or seating positions. You must tell us if you would like your mural to have a different eye level.
Additional Information. When you request a Quote from Printamural you will be invited to give us any additional information we might need to know to enable us to create your bespoke Printamural Quotation. For instance, you might like to tell us that there is a door or alcove in the wall, or that you have a wall light on the wall. We can then best advise you on how to specify the product around it. Or perhaps you would like to mirror the image so that the shadows and highlights better suit the lighting in your room. Or maybe you would prefer to replace the background wall finish illustrated with an alternative as seen in another mural.
Colour Balancing. In certain circumstances we can adjust the colour balances of our printed products to accurately match your own colour scheme or design. Please call us to discuss how we can help you with this.
Please Contact Us or call 01827 383936 if you need any help or guidance.
Using Your Own View in a Mural
We are able to produce Wallpaper and Prints using your own photo or painting in place of the presented view in some of our murals. This could be your own photograph of a favourite scene. Or a picture from a photo library. Or even a photo of your own painting. Obviously, much depends on the quality and size of the image file you send us. The larger the file size the better. TIF or JPG are the most common formats.
If you want to do this we can advise you on the size and quality of image file that you will need to send to us, and show you a visual of how the finished mural will look. Prices for this option depend on the composition work involved and start from £50 + vat.
Please Contact Us or call 01827 383936 if you need any help or guidance.
Our Printing Processes
Printamural use carefully sourced print suppliers who specialise in producing a wide variety of high-quality prints and wallpaper products using the very latest digital print technology.
All our products are produced using ink-jet print technology and UV cured inks to ensure the best possible colour reproduction. The stochastic process ensures that there is no visible dot pattern in the final print resulting in superb print quality and image definition.
Each job is printed on a single piece of roll material on flat-bed printing machine. After printing, this full-size print is cut into the required wallpaper ‘drops’, so ensuring perfect registration of both the image and colour balance when your mural is finally installed.
The capacity of the print machines is vast. They can produce prints up to 3.5m wide and 100m long on a variety of different specialist materials – so we are not limited to the materials we supply as standard.
The UV cured inks used are light-fast. However, depending on local, conditions some very gradual colour fading may occur after three years. Any such fading should not hinder your continued enjoyment of your mural for many more years.
Our Wallpaper Materials
Please refer to our Materials Technical Data Sheets that can be found here and downloaded from this website in PDF format.
We provide our Wallpaper Murals on either a paper-backed vinyl material or a self-adhesive vinyl as standard. Both materials are of the highest quality and conform to Contractor standards. Both offer a Class 0 and Class1 fire rating to BS476 part 7.
As standard we print wallpaper onto high quality paper backed vinyl, just like conventional wallpaper. It is a ‘paste the wall’ product, requiring a suitable ready mixed adhesive paste.
Our Self-Adhesive vinyl is less permanent but has the advantage of being repositionable and does not require paste. It is essential that the wall surface is perfectly flat for this material to adhere well. This material is an additional £5/m2.
All our wallpaper products are supplied with a 50mm bleed around all outside edges (to be trimmed in-situ after installation) to allow for variations in the dimensions of your wall. Normally our paper backed vinyl wallpaper products are designed to be butt jointed during installation. Optionally they can be supplied with a 25mm overlap edge to allow edge trimming in-situ after installation. Our self-adhesive wallpaper products can only be supplied for butt joint installation.
Both materials are supplied to you in rolled up ‘drops’ of 50cm (or optionally 100cm wide if you prefer).
We recommend the use of a pre-mixed ‘paste the wall’ adhesive for our paper backed wallpaper products. These adhesives are readily available to buy in shops and on-line.
While all our products are easy to install we recommend that the installation is carried out by an experienced decorator.
The appropriate downloadable PDF Product and Installation Guides provide all the technical information you will need about these materials and all you need to know about the materials, how to measure your wall, applying the Wallpaper, including information about adhesives.

As standard we print onto high quality artists canvas, a 100% polyester material that is dimensionally stable and reasonably tough.
Our paper-backed vinyl is a commercial wallpaper material. It is a ‘paste the wall’ product, requiring a suitable ready mixed adhesive paste.
Our Exterior PVC material is ideal for Prints to be installed outside, being reasonably tough and weatherproof. This material should be mounted on battens, hung or dry-fixed into position. This material is an additional £5/m2.
All Print products are supplied in a single piece print. The print material has a 50mm approx run-off border around the printed area that can be trimmed away in-situ after installation.
While all our products are easy to install we recommend that the installation is carried out by an experienced decorator.

Wallpaper Installation Guide
Please refer to the Installation Instructions supplied with your Printamural Wallpaper. These instructions include a visual layout of your mural and indicate the Wallpaper ‘drops’ to be installed. Please take time to review these instructions before you start your installation.
We suggest that the installation be carried out by two people.
Each Wallpaper ‘drop’ is numbered at the top on the reverse side. The numbers are sequential from left to right and correspond to the sequence on the visual layout provided.
Normally the Wallpaper ‘drops’ are butt jointed together on the wall. If you have requested your mural to be supplied ready for ‘overlap’ installation (normally by a contractor), the ‘drops’ will be supplied with a 25mm overlap on the left edge.
Each ‘drop’ is 5cm oversize at the top and bottom edges, and the first and last ‘drops’ are 5cm oversize to left and right correspondingly to allow for trimming to fit all the wall edges and corners.
We recommend the use of a pre-mixed ‘paste the wall’ adhesive for our paper-backed vinyl products. These adhesives are readily available to buy in shops and on-line. Please refer to the relevant Product Data Sheet for specific information about these adhesives and where to buy them.
Instructions for Butt Joint Installation of Paper Backed Vinyl Wallpaper
Ensure that the wall surface is suitably prepared, sound and dry. If the wall has a flakey or rough paint surface it is advisable to line it first with lining paper. Plaster should be sealed with a suitable size solution. If the surface is non-absorbent it should always be primed with a suitable PVA primer before the Wallpaper is applied.
The tools you might need include; pencil, tape measure, plumb line, straight edge, spirit level, pasting brush and/or roller, wallpaper smoothing brush or foam roller, damp cloth and/or sponge, wallpaper scissors, Stanley knife.
- Work in sequence, one ‘drop’ at a time. Each ‘drop’ is numbered on the reverse side at the top.
- Use a plumb line to draw a vertical line, using a pencil, 50cm from the wall’s left edge. This is your ‘setting out’ line. ** See NOTE below.
- Dampen the paper backing of the first ‘drop’ and allow it to soak for 10 minutes.
- Apply the adhesive to the wall as instructed by the adhesive manufacturer. It is inadvisable to cover the whole wall in one go. It is a good idea to only paste an area that you can confidently paper within a reasonable time (or as instructed by the adhesive manufacturer).
- Hang the first ‘drop’ bearing in mind that a 5cm overlap is available to allow for any variation the line of the wall edge. Use your vertical line to ensure that the ‘drop’ is vertical on the right hand side (50cm from the wall edge). Use a wallpaper foam roller or damp cloth to carefully smooth the Wallpaper down flat and remove any air bubbles. Remove any excess paste with a damp sponge or cloth.
- Now hang each ‘drop’ in turn, ensuring each one is aligned correctly and butted up to the ‘drop’ to the left. Make sure that there are no gaps between the ‘drops’. Remember to allow each ‘drop’ to soak for 10 minutes before it is applied.
- When all the ‘drops’ have been applied all the outer edges can be trimmed to fit using scissors or sharp knife. Take care not to stretch or tear the Wallpaper. Trim around light switches and sockets in a similar way.
- Remove any excess paste with a clean, damp sponge or cloth.
** NOTE In certain circumstances (for example , if your floor or walls are not level) you might find it preferable to align the mural to the top of a piece of prominent furniture, such as a sideboard, that may exist in front of the wall. Determine a horizontal line to ‘set out’ against and use a spirit level to adjust the vertical ‘setting out’ line to be at right angles to the horizontal.
NOTES for OVERLAP Installation;
5. Now hang each ‘drop’ in turn. Overlap the previous ‘drop’ by 25mm and ensure it is perfectly aligned. Using a straight edge, cut through both ‘drops’ vertically down the centre of the overlap using a sharp knife. Remove the waste material from both ‘drops’ and smooth them back down into position. Remember to allow each ‘drop’ to soak for 10 minutes before it is applied

Instructions for Installation of PVC Exterior Print
A Printamural PVC Print is designed for outside use. It is not intended for permanent fixing. The life of the Print will be extended if it is dismantled and stored indoors during extremes of weather. And although UV inks and protective coatings are used in the manufacture of the Print, the colours will fade less if the Print is installed out of direct sunlight.
The most appropriate method by which install a mural Print depends on each many criteria pertinent to each job and should be decided by the customer. However, Printamural suggest that a Print is fixed in place by one of the following methods:
Stretch the canvas over a prepared timber frame, using staples, and fix this frame to the wall using screw fixings and angle brackets.
Utilising the ‘eyes’ around the Print edges (if requested and provided), use pvc cordage to tie the Print down to hooks, eye-bolts or screw fixings in the wall.
Utilising the ‘eyes’ around the Print edges (if requested and provided), hook the Print directly over hooks correctly positioned and fixed to the wall.
Use the most appropriate method (as described previously) to position your mural prior to fixing in place.
The tools you might need include; pencil, tape measure, plumb line, straight edge, spirit level, Stanley knife and suitable fixings and tools.
